This week, our team was in Tajikistan kicking off a technical due diligence for a potential EBRD investment in rural broadband infrastructure.
The ambition is clear: extend fibre connectivity to unserved rural areas and mobile base stations, and improve access to reliable broadband for schools, hospitals, businesses, and households across the country.
It was a pleasure engaging with government representatives, mobile network operators, and ISPs to discuss the current connectivity landscape, infrastructure gaps, and investment priorities.
Many thanks to our counterparts in Tajikistan for their openness and collaboration – we look forward to continuing our collaboration as the project moves into its next phase.
