Haya Water Telecom Asset Transfer Valuation

Project outline

The main challenge of this assignment was to support Oman Broadband Company (OBC) in the valuation and transfer of Haya Water’s telecom assets, including the FTTH access network. The study needed to accurately audit and value diverse fiber assets, account for cost variations across different neighborhoods, and develop a robust methodology and scenarios to guide the transfer process. Ensuring a transparent, technically sound, and financially justifiable approach while addressing stakeholder requirements was central to enabling a successful asset transfer.
