In the new technology era, we understand the importance of having a fast and reliable wireless connection. Salience gives back to Macedonia by providing free Wi-Fi for university students studying in public libraries. This project will serve to support students in conducting research, gathering information, and studying thus indirectly contributing to their opportunities for better employment.

Last month, Salience entered into an agreement with the Public Library Braka Miladinovci in Skopje to deliver free Wi-Fi. The library has four study rooms with an approximate capacity of around 100 students. Two of the study rooms operate 24 hours providing students with access to reliable internet.

Salience will continue this collaboration with the public library and seek other opportunities to support access to free broadband for youth and students in Macedonia. We encourage other stakeholders to join Salience in partnering to provide more free hotspots for Macedonian youth.
