Salience has been supporting the COMESA Secretariat in the development of policy and regulatory frameworks for wholesale roaming and cross-border interconnections in the EA-SA-IO Region.

During the 3-day validation workshop in Kigali, Rwanda, most of COMESA-EAC-SADC Tripartite’s 29 member states participated in fruitful discussions, bringing them one step closer to the implementation of much-needed regional agreements.

The proposed regulated wholesale tariffs, backed by our cost model, aim to enable the “roam like at home” concept and bring down the cost of cross-border connectivity, ultimately benefiting end users across 29 countries in Africa.
