In partnership with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD), the Salience Consulting team was onsite in Baku from October 21-23, 2024, to validate the final phase of a significant project with the Information Communication Technologies Agency (ICTA). During this visit, Salience presented key findings and recommendations on Market Analysis Methodology, Fixed and Mobile Market Analyses, and the Training and Capacity Building Program, marking the project’s successful completion.
This phase culminated in a comprehensive Final Report that summarises these insights, providing an in-depth overview and recommending strategic initiatives to strengthen ICTA’s regulatory frameworks. The ultimate goal is to foster a more competitive telecommunications landscape in Azerbaijan.
Throughout the project ICTA staff expressed their gratitude for Salience’s dedication, their team efforts and commitment, highlighting their expertise in market analysis as well as in training and capacity building which helped ICTA to grow the competences of their staff. All that work has contributed to the ICTA’s confidence to initiate important regulatory steps in the market over the coming years.
