This week, Salience Consulting participated in a two-day hybrid workshop organized by Smart Africa, focusing on the One Africa Network (OAN). Together with a delegation from Gabon, the flagship country for this initiative, the workshop reviewed the feasibility study and discussed the implementation roadmap for OAN.
The OAN aims to provide free roaming services to African citizens, moving the continent closer to a single digital market and aligning with Smart Africa’s mission to reduce the cost of roaming and keep African traffic within the continent.
Reflecting on the event’s success, a representative from Smart Africa remarked, “We completed the Gabon OAN engagement workshop today. It was a huge success, and your team once again delivered and exceeded expectations.“
Through the One Africa Network, we’re helping to empower African nations to take charge of their communications, boost intra-African trade and integration, enhance security against telecom fraud, and improve the quality and affordability of communication services continent-wide.
