Salience Consulting successfully completed a key mission to Nigeria, engaging with the Ministry of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy (MFCIDE), the Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC), the Ministry of Finance Incorporated (MoFI), and key private sector stakeholders in Abuja and Lagos. Over 20 engagement meetings were conducted within a week period.
These engagements form a critical part of the ongoing feasibility study being conducted by the team on behalf of the World Bank Group and related to the BRIDGE project—an ambitious initiative led by the MFCIDE to develop a 90,000 km fiber optic network aimed at bridging Nigeria’s digital development gaps.
The mission helped align stakeholder priorities and gather vital insights to support the design of a resilient, sustainable, and inclusive national digital infrastructure that delivers positive financial, economic and social outcomes.
