Salience along with members of the EAC Secretariat visited the regulators, ministries and all mobile operators in each of the EAC Partner States-Burundi, Rwanda, Uganda, DRC, South Sudan, Kenya, Somalia and Tanzania during the month of August to discuss the implementation of the One Network Area ONA Regional Roaming Framework that was launched in 2014.
Stakeholders provided invaluable insights regarding challenges to a more seamless implementation and supported Salence’s recommendations for enhancements going forward.
These discussions mark an important step toward strengthening regional connectivity and improving cross-border communications for citizens and businesses alike.
