WB Global Digital Summit – Closing rural connectivity gaps using satellite technologies

Presenting our consultant viewpoint on the challenges and opportunities for using satellite technologies to provide connectivity in rural areas of the world. Targeting the demand areas, making it affordable, partnerships with operators/governments and regulatory restrictions as key challenges for the LEO satellite providers.
Our managing partner Ivan Skenderoski attended a panel session at the World Bank Digital Summit moderated by Thomas Chalumeau with participations from LEO Satellite constellations Ben MacWilliams from Starlink, Katie Dowd from Eutelsat OneWeb, Julie Napier Zoller from Amazon Kuiper, Fouad Benikhlef from Orange Telecom and Josephine Nyiranzeyimana from Rwanda Information Society Authority (RISA).
