The challenge
ECOWAS required a full feasibility study for a new regional submarine cable. The challenge was to assess demand, supply, technical configuration, environmental and social impacts, and financial viability across multiple countries. Governance and institutional arrangements also needed to be defined for a complex regional initiative.

Our impact
The study delivered a comprehensive technical, financial, environmental, and institutional roadmap for developing the Amilcar Cabral Submarine Cable. ECOWAS received a complete feasibility package, including risk and sensitivity analysis and procurement-ready tender documents, enabling informed decision making and next-stage implementation planning.
