As part of the preparation of a feasibility study for the Amilcar Cabral Submarine Cable project, the Salience team participated in a workshop organized by the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) in Banjul, The Gambia. The Amilcar Cabral project is part of the ECOWAS Vision 2050 and is part of an overall strategy to improve regional connectivity and establish a common digital market.
At the workshop in Banjul, Salience led sessions providing an overview of the Amilcar Cabral project, alternative solutions, policy, regulation, market-entry and financial modeling for the deployment of the cable designed to reduce the region’s infrastructure gap and inject greater efficiency into the provision of infrastructure and related services to accelerate the region’s development.
We are looking forward to providing additional insight on investment opportunities leading to the enhancement of digital infrastructure and social and economic benefits for the member states of ECOWAS.
